The Framework Laptop is a triple-screen powerhouse thanks to a custom build. For DIYers, the Framework Laptop has been a blessing. Not only does the modular construction make repairs quick and simple, but the swappable mainboard also provides a sturdy foundation for all kinds of odd designs. Numerous hackers have developed their own cyberdeck designs using the modular mainboard concept. Even without purchasing the entire laptop, you can do it!

This triple-screen laptop build by DIY Perks raises the bar for that. They used their expertise to piece together a portable cyberdeck workstation since they were dissatisfied with the small screens and uncomfortable ergonomics of ordinary laptops.

Actually, this has a really simple bill of materials. A few Adafruit adapters, three screens (one 4K 120Hz panel, two iPad Retina displays), and modified DisplayPort cables that were sliced open and had wires soldered straight to them are used in the project. In order to fit the case on their Prusa’s bed, they had to 3D print it in sections. After slapping and supergluing everything together, they built a complex stand system.
